Food to die for and fantastic rooms

This is my third time at this hotel and the experience is fantastic. So much so we are booked in for 6 nights at Christmas and cannot wait to go back. 660 mile round trip is worth it just for the food alone. I've stayed in rooms in the main house and the new 9 bed extension. Room 3 and room 1 are our Christmas choices for the amazing bathrooms and spectacular views over the cricket pitch and river. The staff are really welcoming and very friendly. The restaurant is always busy. Hardly surprising locals eat here as the food is mouth wateringly scruptious. The hotel sits in a beautiful area of the country with so many enjoyable activities to keep everyone entertained. The kids loved the hotels entertainment and swimming pool. Christmas can't come soon enough.

Self Catering

For those who want the facilities of the hotel but prefer their own space, we have self-catering accommodation within the grounds of the Riverdale Hall Hotel.

Riverdale Court

The two first-floor apartments, Blakey and Graham, have balconies and the ground-floor apartments, ABRAHAMS and MILBURN, patio areas, all overlooking the cricket field, the North Tyne River and bridge and Dunterley Fell (Pennine Way).

The Abrahams has two bedrooms (1 twin & 1 double) with the larger bedroom easily accommodating a family of three, one large bathroom with bath with shower over, an open plan lounge, kitchen (with dishwasher) and dining area.

The BLAKEY has two bedrooms (twin or double as required) one of which has an ensuite bathroom, a further bathroom - again with bath and shower, an open plan lounge, kitchen and dining area.

The GRAHAM has two ensuite bedrooms (1 twin & 1 double) an open plan lounge, kitchen (with dishwasher) and dining area.

The Milburn has one large bedroom (twin, double or family of three), one bathroom with facilities for the less able bodied, an open plan lounge, kitchen (with dishwasher) and dining area. . Car parking is adjacent.
