Still Waters
For the still water angler we are situated between two of Northumberland's foremost big trout waters, with the hotel being the closest to Kielder water and even closer still are Sweethope Loughs.
Kielder is a huge reservoir covering 2700 acres set in Europe's biggest man made forest. Offering superb fly and worm fishing it is ideal for the beginner to expert and has hosted some of the country's largest competitions such as the England eliminators & The Jack Charlton cup.
Sweethope consists of two Loughs with rainbows up to 30lb, ideal for boat or bank fly enthusiasts and is set in breathtaking surroundings.
