Food to die for and fantastic rooms

This is my third time at this hotel and the experience is fantastic. So much so we are booked in for 6 nights at Christmas and cannot wait to go back. 660 mile round trip is worth it just for the food alone. I've stayed in rooms in the main house and the new 9 bed extension. Room 3 and room 1 are our Christmas choices for the amazing bathrooms and spectacular views over the cricket pitch and river. The staff are really welcoming and very friendly. The restaurant is always busy. Hardly surprising locals eat here as the food is mouth wateringly scruptious. The hotel sits in a beautiful area of the country with so many enjoyable activities to keep everyone entertained. The kids loved the hotels entertainment and swimming pool. Christmas can't come soon enough.
